here are a few things I'm currently using in case you find something useful:

• Adding new Screens, Screen schemes and Issue type screen schemes before creating the Workflow so you can assign every screen to the transition when you're creating the workflow:

• Default New Risk Screen including the Custom fields mentioned before
• Default risk transition No fields added so the user will be asked to add comments
• Risk Resolution: Add the resolution field so you can select resolution before closing the issue
• Any other needed for your other transitions

Using kanban when there are many issues could be messy, however if you use the Security Level field you can limit what you can display in the board for making it more clean for other teams that don't need to see stuff from each other
