Readability issue in dark mode

The menu is hard to read with a black font on dark background.

I'd suggest using a 50% gray font in dark mode maybe?

That's rather disturbing, as on my device (and the dev emulators), that text is white. Might I ask what phone that is and what version of Android's on it?

It's a Mi A1 running Android One, Android v9

Hm... I think there's a couple things I can adjust with the dark theme to ensure it picks up the right colors. I'll see what I can do when I get the chance.
