You are part of the Angular Cli team, how did you get into it and what's a day in the life of an Angular Cli team member like?

Hmmm... two part question....

How did I get involved?

The same way anyone else would. I came to the repo and looked through open issues.
Admittedly this was much easier back then as there were less than 100 issues as the project was really just getting started. So any issue was up for grabs then, but now we recognize that the project has grown and now have a label to track specific issues for which community hep would be appreciated. You can see those issues here.

What's a day in the life like?

Well that depends on the day, as with any other dev job. Typically it involves writing code and communicating with people about the issue/feature I'm working on. Github isn't always the best for real-time communication so there are times that those conversations take place over different mediums like Slack/Hangouts/Gitter. The main thing that I find working on this project versus others is the importance placed on testing. There are a lot of people using the software we work on and we want to reduce the amount of issues that we cause for our users and the best way to tackle that is to write tests to validate our code.

I hope this answers your question... thanks for asking!
