Support for Waveshare Pico LCD 1.14

Recently I got a Pico LCD 1.14 and I am trying to get that to work with this library, so far no luck. The backlight is on but that's it.

Figured I'd something simple as the colour test sketch, with some added settings I found at #2052 (reply in thread) (same display, just different resolution it seems), but no luck so far. Due to lack of errors, I'm unsure about how to proceed.

So far I've got this:

Am I missing a setting?

edit: Trying this on a Pico W

edit2: Switched to an Adafruit library, that one works :) , so ruled out broken display.
