November 4 - November 10

Monday (11/4) Meeting with Professor Richardson and Egidio- meeting notes are in the team google drive. We discussed team roles, goals, progress (Lydia was able to find a brewery in Hamilton with sludge granules for us to use), and start up time research.

Tuesday (11/5) Francesca and Emily Wood went to the IAWWTF to discuss testing schedules with Gabby and Roxanne (engineers at the waste water treatment plant). The schedule is in the meeting minutes for 11/10 (in the google drive).

Wednesday (11/6) Traveled to the waste water treatment plant to drill holes into the continuous flow reactor (opaque reactor). The hole was drilled too big for our testing pipes to fit in, so Shania is looking at new pipes we can fit in. Took a gas bag back to the Agua Clara lab for Egidio to test for leaks.

Height of the new reactor is 56.4 cm
Hole drilled into the continuous flow reactor is 1 and 1/16 inches.
We need to bring 2 furcows
We need to bring a longer screwdriver

Thursday (11/7) Began fabrication on a hole for the continuous flow reactor.
