1. Intro

Portainer is an open-source lightweight management UI which allows you to easily manage your Docker containers, images, networks and volumes.

2. Accessing Portainer

To access Portainer, visit https://portainer.yourdomain.com

3. First Time Setup

1. The first time you go to the Portainer page, you will be presented with the message "Please specify a password for the admin user account". Fill in your preferred admin password. Click Validate.

   

2. On the login page, fill in your username (admin) and password. Click Login.

   

3. On the "Connect Portainer to a Docker engine or Swarm cluser endpoint" screen, select Manage the Docker instance where Portainer is running and click Connect.

   

4. Portainer is now setup.
