Proposed solution

Please make modern widgets in iOS interactive: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/WidgetKit/Adding-interactivity-to-widgets-and-Live-Activities.

This feature will become public with the release of iOS 17, but in the meantime, you can make it available to beta testers of your app in TestFlight: https://developer.apple.com/testflight/
