Issue Details

Currently you have to open the AdGuard VPN app in order to disconnect from a server or simply check the server speed.

This may not be much of an issue for people that use AdGuard VPN as an always on VPN, but for people that prefer to only enable the VPN when necessary this really breaks the flow of what you’re currently doing.

Proposed solution

Android has a great solutions for this problem like the persistent, interactive notification and the quick settings toggle. Unfortunately iOS doesn’t have the luxury of custom Control Center toggles, but the iPhone 14 Pro (and iOS 16 in general, with Live Activities) does come with a feature that is kind of similar to the persistent notification on Android.

That’s why I came up with the idea to have AdGuard VPN support the Dynamic Island and Live Activities. This provides a super easy way to see what’s going on with the VPN and allows for quick disconnects, without ever leaving your current app.

A feature like this could look something like this concept I made:

AdGuard VPN Dynamic Island

@tychoregter Awesome idea!
We have some plans to implement this feature in future versions.
